Leadermel LLC, doing business as Mel Mel (“Leadermel”, “we”, “us” or “our”), operates leadermel.com and manufactures and sells artisanal dulce de leche to wholesale and retail customers in the United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide to us. Your name, business name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone and mobile number, tax identification number where applicable, and payment information, collected when you place an order, request a quote, open a wholesale account, subscribe to our communications, or contact our customer service team.

Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, pages visited, time spent on those pages, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 5.

Information from third parties. Order and payment confirmations from our payment processors, and delivery status information from shipping carriers.

2. How we use your information

• To process, fulfill, invoice and ship your orders.
• To communicate with you about orders, quotes, deliveries and support requests.
• To send product, pricing and promotional information when you have consented to receive it.
• To manage our accounts receivable and comply with tax, accounting and food-safety recordkeeping obligations.
• To detect, investigate and prevent fraud and unauthorized transactions.
• To improve our products, our website and our customer service.

3. Text messaging (SMS and MMS)

If you provide your mobile telephone number and consent to receive text messages, we may send you order confirmations, delivery updates, and product or pricing information. Message frequency varies. 4. How we share information

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers that help us operate our business, including payment processors, shipping carriers, website hosting providers, and customer relationship management and messaging platforms, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services on our behalf.
• With professional advisors such as accountants and attorneys, who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• With government authorities or other parties when required by applicable law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case we will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, request deletion of that information, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, and from text messages by replying STOP.

9. Children’s privacy

Our website and products are not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be announced on this page.
